Before Watching:
- Does a persuasive speech have to be loaded with information to be effective? How much information is too much or too little?
- When demonstrating a procedure, simplicity, repetition, and organization are key. While watching this speech, critique all three.
After Watching:
- Was the demonstrated procedure simple and clear enough? Was the use of repetition effective?
- How did he introduce the speech? Why do you think he made that choice?
- Did he benefit from using audience participation?
- What did he intend to persuade his audience to think or do? Was his argument effective?
